First Step into Digital History

The Venus Jones Project was a student led project to celebrate the University of Mary Washington’s first Black graduate, Dr. Venus Jones. The project consisted of two parts, a physical exhibition of a time line that followed the life and career of Dr. Jones, and a website to act as a virtual exhibition that would provide additional information that would not be included in the physical exhibition.
